Celebrate all things Springtime at this Easter Sunday activity day, with whimsical storytelling, a historic costume photo booth, Georgian chocolate making workshops and a whole host of fun art and craft activities in our atmospheric historical interiors, and a trail throughout the beautiful grounds and gardens!
The two chocolate making workshops will be held at 11.30am and 1.30pm and must be pre-booked. All other activity is free of charge.
Alongside our fantastic Fulham Palace activities, we are delighted to be joined by our friends from Orleans House Gallery, Teddy’s Tune Time and First Hand Experiences:
Orleans House Gallery
Twickenham based Orleans House Gallery will be providing a fun and interactive craft session: Flowers for the Queen. Make colourful paper flowers inspired by a painting of Queen Caroline. Learn about Orleans House – where Queen Caroline dined in Georgian times – and the Richmond Borough Art Collection. Take some flowers home and add some to a collaborative springtime bouquet in honour of Queen Caroline. Discover more about the HLF Transforming Orleans House project, including the exciting restoration work and upcoming events.
Teddy’s Tune Time
Get a flavour of Teddy’s Tune Time at Fulham Palace, as Teddy fills your little ones in on where he’s been adventuring and shares some of his favourite toys. Come and join him for his colour song, play musical instruments, pop some bubbles and dance too! There will also be the opportunity to discover more about Teddy’s regular fun filled baby and toddler sessions at the Palace.
First Hand Experiences
Learn to scavenge like a bird with First Hand Experiences as they lead you on a hunt around the grounds to gather materials for your nest. Then warm up back inside with the chance to build your very own nest and take part in an egg making workshop with a difference, using all natural (and delicious!) ingredients.
A schedule of activities will be available on the day but please allow plenty of time if you wish to take part in everything.
Free, no booking necessary* N.B. Children must be accompanied by an adult. *Chocolate Making Workshop, £5 per person. Booking essential; click here to book Suitable for adults and children of all ages.
