Modern Shows run a number of vintage and modern design shows each year that attract people from all over the UK looking to buy collectable furniture and design for the home. Expect to see anywhere from 50 to 100 dealers showcasing either pure mid-century or a mix of mid-century and modern in atmospheres that make the experience an enjoyable Sunday out.
About this event: People Will Always Need Plates collaborate with West London's amazing Vessel Gallery in the entrance to produce huge Krenit-style enamel bowls in incredible colours stacked one inside the other and a limited edition range of artist/architect inspired hand painted enamel bowls by PWANP too.
Then buy a dream piece from a mix of C20 design classics (modernist downstairs, industrial upstairs) from 20 plus top specialists while snooping around a recently converted Edwardian laundry primed for sale in the heart of Fulham. See Cherner, Ponti, Panton, Russell. Mourgue, Aarnio, Eames, Wegner, Jacobsen, Juhl, Quistgaard, Heritage, Paulin, Day, Anderson, Jalk, Bertoia, Nelson, Fornasetti and more in easy reach of Imperial Wharf and Chelsea Harbour. Dealers will replenish stock throughout the weekend.
